Official clients by platform
Windows: SFW installer, Windows 10+; illustrated installation guide (Chinese). Linux: SFL packages, selected by distribution and architecture.
Android: official SFA APK or Google Play; installation and permissions. iOS: sing-box MT; store and VPN details.
macOS: SFM standalone; installation and migration. Store app versions and availability can differ from GitHub releases. Ordinary sing-box archives are CLI core downloads.
Official sing-box client downloads
sing-box provides clients for Windows, Linux, Android, iOS and macOS. Prepare a compatible configuration after installing; the software download does not include a working proxy service.
Configuration and platform differences
- Proxy protocols: sing-box supports multiple protocols; the required server and client settings depend on the protocol used.
- Install the matching client: use a graphical app for everyday profile management; server deployment is a separate task.
- Routing and DNS: a configuration can define how connections and name resolution are handled.
- Platform differences: Windows/Linux, Android and Apple clients have different installation and system-permission requirements.
- Official graphical clients: use SFW/SFL, SFA, SFM or the MT store app as appropriate; similarly named third-party apps have separate interfaces.
- Configuration compatibility: importing a profile is only one step; verify it starts and uses the intended node and routing.

1.14.3 platform downloads and core files
Is there an official Windows GUI?
Yes. Windows and Linux use sing-box for Desktop. The similarly named GUI for SingBox is a separate third-party application; use the instructions for the client you installed.
Which Windows download should I choose?
Choose the SFW EXE for the Windows GUI, matching x64, x86 or ARM64. The sing-box Windows ZIP is the CLI core. The official GUI requires Windows 10 or newer.
Can I import any subscription URL?
A Remote URL must return compatible sing-box JSON. Clash YAML and node lists are different formats; see configuration formats before importing.
